Music box disc for Oğuz Ordu

Oğuz Ordu

Computer Engineer · Ankara, Türkiye

I build full stack web apps and mobile apps, and I like putting AI where it actually helps.

About

I graduated in Computer Engineering from Ankara University in January 2026, with an Erasmus+ semester at the University of Jaén in Spain along the way.

At 312 Life I built the whole .NET backend and the SQL Server database of a personal training platform. Since then I have shipped my own projects: a review search service with RAG, a real-time multiplayer quiz game and a subscription tracker for iOS and Android.

Experience

Full Stack Developer Intern, 312 Life

  • Designed a 20-table, role-based SQL Server database for a gym and personal training platform
  • Created the whole backend using .NET, including login and registration with password hashing and JWT, and limited each endpoint to the right role (admin, trainer or customer)
  • Built the frontend of the personal training app using Flutter with 2 other interns
  • Created an admin page on a separate barcode price checking app to change settings and analyze errors

Projects

Music box disc for Review Evidence Engine

Review Evidence Engine

Answers questions about a product by counting every review that says yes or no, and linking each one.

  • Live
  • Built a Python and FastAPI service that answers questions such as "does the battery last?" with counts and citations instead of a summary of a few reviews
  • Matched ground-truth counts on a benchmark where a top-8 RAG baseline never saw 34 of 50 relevant reviews, by classifying every candidate with Gemini
  • Combined PostgreSQL full-text search and pgvector embeddings with reciprocal rank fusion, so reviews worded differently from the question are still found
  • Deployed with Docker Compose on an Oracle Cloud VM, with 59 automated tests and a GitHub Actions pipeline that redeploys every passing build

Built with

  • Python
  • FastAPI
  • PostgreSQL
  • pgvector
  • Gemini API
  • Docker
  • GitHub Actions
Music box disc for Quizle

Quizle

Real-time multiplayer trivia: 2 to 20 players join with a room code and answer timed questions.

  • Live
  • Developed the game with a Go backend and a Next.js frontend, with questions in Turkish or English
  • Designed the WebSocket server around one goroutine per room, so game state needs no locks
  • Kept the countdown on the server, so clients never see the answer before the reveal
  • Added a build check that validates all 4,933 questions, alongside 70 Go tests run with the race detector

Built with

  • Go
  • WebSocket
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript

Music box disc for GymApp

GymApp

A mobile workout planner: browse exercises by muscle group and build your own programs and daily routines.

  • Code on GitHub
  • Built the app with React Native, Expo and TypeScript, with an exercise library sorted by muscle group
  • Let users create custom programs and daily routines, then add, edit or remove exercises day by day
  • Secured user data in Supabase with Row Level Security on every table, so each account sees only its own records even though the client key ships with the app

Built with

  • React Native
  • Expo
  • TypeScript
  • Supabase
